The 3 Steps To Achieving Anything You Want

1. Belief

Napoleon Hill’s famous line is “What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” The starting point is believing your goals are part of your destiny.

Your beliefs shape your thoughts. Your thoughts produce your words, and your words produce your actions.

Your words are a testament to your belief systems. Be careful how you talk. Look at four statements that show belief strength:
1. I have always wanted to become a millionaire. (weak!)
2. I want to become a millionaire (weak!)
3. I will become a millionaire. (medium)
4. I am a millionaire. (high)

“I am a millionaire” is the mindset needed to bring the goal. Our internal beliefs shape our external lives. Even though you may not drive a Ferrari now, you must see yourself in one already if you want one.

The medical community has come to a consensus that a fake treatment, an inactive substance like sugar, distilled water, or saline solution — can often improve a patient’s condition simply because the person thinks it will help. This means it is possible to change your health with belief! The Placebo effect may be one of God’s greatest gifts if used correctly.

2. Planning

dream

There are 365 days in a year and “someday” isn’t one of them.

You have the same amount of time in your day as Oprah Winfrey, Elon Musk, Barack Obama, Bill Gates, or Donald Trump. No one gets more than 24 hours. Make sure your day is planned.

Your week is 168 hours. If you show up to work one hour earlier and stay one hour later each day and work on Saturdays, you will increase your pay by 50%!

Specifics Count. Come up with the goal and determine what is necessary to achieve it.
For example: “I want to become a millionaire in five years.”
-You need to make $547/day.
-You need to make $68/hour.
-You need to make $1.14/minute.

Figure out your goal and work backwards.

3. Action

No one has ever known every specific action in advance of their success. Steve Jobs didn’t know exactly how he was going to build and sell a personal computer to the world. He figured it out. Jobs committed to a lifestyle of action. Every failure is a step closer to success. You can’t connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking backwards.

Since action causes failure, you must take massive action. Be obsessed and tell yourself, “I’m going to do whatever it takes.” Because you don’t know exactly what actions it will take. It’s not, “I’m going to make this succeed if it doesn’t take more than three months. I’m going to make this succeed if I can spend less than $10,000.” You will never win with that mindset. You must have the mentality to do “whatever it takes.”

Take one small action every day.
Take massive action with an unwavering belief in 2016.
